When it comes to dressing your dog, it’s important to have an outfit for every occasion. Whether it’s a dinner party, family brunch, or a holiday, it’s important for our dogs to be included in the festivities. For a dinner party, consider an elegant dog dress or dog formal wear. For more family oriented activities, dog t-shirts might be more practical for the event. Holidays are the best times for dog costumes. Dressing your dog in cute dog outfits will make them the center of attention. Spoiled dogs should have an entire wardrobe suited for all kinds of occasions.
Be sure to choose lots of dog accessories to complement their outfits. Just like people, dogs should have enough choices to make any outfit stunning. Just be sure that the outfits come off now and then, because with all that hair, some outfits can become uncomfortable if worn too often!
Spring is the time for romance and weddings. We are all currently aware of cutting back on our lavish plans to save some money, but one area we simply can’t scrimp on is our pet’s festive attire at the ceremony. I recently attended my good friend’s wedding and she had her darling pooch decked out in the cutest dog tuxedo. He looked almost as handsome than the groom! Because he looked so cute, he provided us with many laughs. It was one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to!
Surprisingly, dogs can show similar allergic symptoms as humans, such as excess tearing from the eyes, with redness, sneezing, and even breathing problems. In dogs, the term “atopy” represents the condition of inhaled allergies; with this problem dogs often have skin problems, too. They can even develop asthma with atopy, but this is less common.
Certain breeds are known to be predispo
sed to atopy, several of which are in the terrier group, with the West highland white terrier leading the pack. However, any dog can develop atopy.
One treatment option for dogs are allergy shots. Another option involves medications designed to stop or curb itching. naturally, though, we need to be reminded of other conditions that cause itching in dogs: the number one cause is parasites in the form of fleas. So, if your dog is itching, especially in this season, it is important to get him checked out by your vet and get treatment.

People know that it’s dangerous to sit around in wet clothes, and just like people, it can be dangerous for dogs to sit around with wet fur. The most common danger from being in wet clothes is hypothermia, which is also a danger for canines. When walking the dog, it’s a good idea to have dog rainwear at the ready. In some circumstances depending on the size of your dog, a standard umbrella will suffice. However, with larger dogs, dogs that pull on the leash or lag behind, or smaller umbrellas, this might not work. There’s no real disadvantage to having your dog wear dog rainwear, plus you can be sure that they’ll look extra cute!
When your dog’s fur has become saturated for a significant amount of time, it’s important to dry them off as soon as possible. It takes a lot for dogs to become hypothermic, but if you suspect something is the matter, be sure to contact a veterinarian for further instructions.

Rhodesian Ridgeback
This beautiful dog is the only breed originating in South Africa. It is in the hound family and was developed as a dual-purpose dog: to hunt African lions and hold them at bay, and as the family protector and watchdog, all the while being gentle with small children.
Its coat is unique in that it has a ridge of hair than runs down the center of its back in the opposite direction from the rest of its coat. The Ridgeback is a fierce protector of its family and home and makes an excellent companion. It is best suited to a large home and yard where it can get regular outings and exercise.
