dog boots

I was invited to visit my friend’s brand new home on the coast a couple of weeks ago. She knows I don’t go anywhere without Sammie, my golden retriever, and said I could bring her along. I knew my friend had beautiful hardwood floors so I thought ahead. I ordered Sammie a set of dog boots that she could wear in the house and not scratch the brand new floors. My plan worked perfectly. The boots were easy to slip on and off, and I didn’t have to worry about my dog scratching that gorgeous floor. As a result, we had a wondeful, relaxing visit and were asked to come back again.

Aspen Dog CoatYou may not think that dogs can get sick because they have furry little coats, but that is not always the case. My dog, Chuck, got sick the other week, primarily because we went out for a jog in the rain. Chuck was sneezing every few seconds and acted like a lethargic toddler.

While the vet said he just caught a little cold, he also suggested that I purchase a couple of dog coats for Chuck. A little while afterwards, I bought him one and now when we decide to go off on a drizzling jog, I don’t have to worry about him getting sick.

dog beretI have a small dog that I take everywhere I go. I dress her in cute outfits to show her off, especially when I take her downtown. I was so delighted to find a website that sells an adorable black dog beret to complete her ensembles. She even acts different when she wears it – like she know she looks extra cute. Everyone stops us to comment.

dog slippers

I can’t tell you how much my little Schnauzer Sophie loves wearing her dog pajamas to bed each night! Sophie has been my bed companion ever since she was just a puppy, and she’s always liked wearing pajamas to bed. When Sophie was just a year old, I bought her dog pajamas and dog slippers from an online store because she always seemed to be cold at night. You’d think with all that fur she would be too warm sleeping on the down comforter on my bed, but she was always trying to get under the blankets.

Whenever I say “Pajamas” to Sophie she gets excited and starts rushing around barking. The slippers also keep Sophie’s dirty feet off the bedding, so I don’t have to worry about having sand and dog footprints on my nice white sheets!
